Cricket is passion in India and IPL has add to the fever. Use of Technology is increasing day by day in this game too, monitoring the heart bit to the speed of bowler, hawk eye, stumps view, third umpire ……..
While going out for work some kids were playing gully cricket with fielders positioned at silly point, slip and boundary, two umpires monitoring the game closely.
Batsman hit the ball and started running for a run. Ball bounced back from the wall and keeper batsman was in danger. everyone was appealing and the great fight started out hai …. nahi hai….. main nahi khelta…. Leg umpire called the captains and was showing something on his mobile…to my curiosity I went close to them to see what it was……..I was amazed to see that the umpire had recorded it and showed to the captains a REPLAY of ” WHAT HAS HAPPENED” ……..
With no facility of third umpire…………both the umpires used their brain and mobile and were recording every ball. Awesome use of Mobility and technology in gully game. …………..and the game started again
